Miki Sumida

From 2018 to 2022, Miki was part of the management team at the renowned design office nendo, where she managed a wide range of projects—from corporate consulting to creating art pieces. This experience not only deepened her understanding of design firm operations but also made her realize just how important creative management is, inspiring her to found this company to support emerging creatives

Before joining nendo, Miki worked at the Bank of Japan, conducting market research. She then joined McKinsey & Company’s Japan office, where she advised retail and consumer goods companies on developing and executing their strategies

Earlier in her career, Miki lived in West Africa as a full-time homemaker, following her spouse’s job relocation. This experience sparked her passion for supporting women's continuous career development
